Sealanes proud history with the world's navies dates back to the 1940's when ocean liners on wartime service as troop carriers for the British, American, Dutch and Australian navies, including the Queen Mary, Aquitania and Mauritania, came to Fremantle. Too large to berth in the harbour they lay at anchor off shore. Barges laden with supplies from "Fremantle Fish Supply", later to become Sealanes, were towed out to provision the troops.
Since that time, Sealanes has established strong links with many of the world's navies, supplying a range of goods and provisions from its distribution points from Esperance to Darwin. From the USA's massive aircraft carriers to the Australian navies fast response vessels, our naval supply service is fast and efficient, ensuring that crew provisions and technical supplies meet each navy's exacting standards.
We are ISO 9002 Quality Assured, HACCP accredited, USDA approved and meet all Australian standards for the export of meat, shellfish, bond goods and other commodities.
